Amokachi Eyes Everton Coaching Job

Former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi has opened up on his ambition to get a coaching role at his former club, Everton

Amokachi spent three years as an Everton player but several years after leaving the Merseyside team, his heart is still very much with the Premier League side.

Though not specific about the role he would like, the Bull as Amokachi is fondly called told Sky Sports he will not mind a coaching role with Everton in the future.

He says he draws inspiration from his former teammate and pal, Duncan Ferguson, who is presently a part of Everton’s coaching crew.

“The big man (Ferguson) is still there and it’s good to see him on the bench and making an impact with the young players,” he began.

“I definitely would like to come back too. It is all about timing. When the opportunity comes then why not? Life is a beautiful thing”, Amokachi said.

The former Nigeria international is presently the Technical Director at Finnish Club, Hercules.
