The time was exactly 5 minutes past 12 midnight on January 1st 2003 when the doctors and nurses at Mother of Christ Specialist Hospital, Enugu, announced the arrival of the baby of the year. It’s been 15 long years but to me seems like just yesterday. Named Oluomachi, (God’s good work), the little baby girl was a beautiful sight to behold and a great addition to the New year celebrations.
Today, that little bundle of joy has blossomed into a beautiful young woman and has continued to excel in so many areas of life. Talk about true beauty and brains.
As we celebrate her today, I implore all Nairalanders to show some love to her.
