It is common for Nigerian celebrities to Famz foreigners, whether in success or calamity. But when it comes to the home front, they act nonchalant. Just yesterday, a bomb blast took place at Manchester Arena during the concert of Ariana Grande. Over 30 people were reportedly killed and many injured. Nigerian OAP Moet Abebe quickly rushed to Instagram to share her condolence and urged for prayers for Manchester.
However, this didn’t sit well with some of her followers who questioned to know when she ever paid such services in regard to the almost daily bomb blasts experienced in Borno State, Nigeria.
Perhaps, after being hit by the comments that followed her Instagram post, the Soundcity OAP had to do a subtle clap back by claiming she was just doing it for humanity and that no one should force their opinion on her. Well, I think it’s best she starts her humanitarian effort by affecting those in her country first, cos the foreigners she’s showing support to have never shown us such since Boko Haram has been dropping bombs daily in Nigeria.
