We love when designers think outside of the box, using great fabrics and creating designs that will keep us wanting more and that is what womenswear label, Maison Mimi has done with their latest collection taggedThe Dark Forest.

In the words of Maison Mimi “The name “Dark Forest” came from a song I replayed during the entire design process; Night Sky – Roses Gabor (UK). The concept introduced the mesh add-ons on some pieces, to give it that edge. Roses is an electro-soul singer, so the course auto tune noise represents the fabric’s print and the song as the mesh, black like the nights sky.”

The lookbook features the singer, Roses Gabor wearing crop tops, dresses with cut outs, loose blouses, palazzo pants and dresses with sheer details from collection, posing with dry grass around her feet evoking the forest.

The palette is kept minimal with a tie dye pattern in grey and white covering the collection of dresses and separates.
