Pictures of a newly completed hostel worth millions of naira at the prestigious American University of Nigeria has hit the social media space.

American University of Nigeria is a private university in northeastern Nigeria that offers American style higher education programs at the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels.

Undergraduate tuition and fees as at the year 2016 hovered around N1.59 million. Here, students are reportedly exposed to global best practices of education that help in building their future.

A sneak peak of the ‘palace’ in the form of a school hostel has been given for Nigerians to see. This is an aberration to what is obtainable in federal universities in Nigeria.

It was founded in 2004 by prominent Nigerian politician and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
