Supermodel Iman is an iconic, inspiring and timelessly beautiful woman so it’s no surprise that she’s inspiring creatives like creative director and founder of fashion agency Beau Monde Society, Jennifer Nnamani who’s fashion shoot titled I.M.A.N. draws on images of the icon.

The project took three years to complete with Nnamani sharing that “It took almost two years to find the right model.” The model Gale was photographed wearing four different looks in the Soho area of New York, striking poses reminiscent of editorials of the supermodel shot in New York early on in her career.

“The I.M.A.N. editorial serves to pay homage to her contributions to the fashion industry, as well as my interpretation of Iman’s elegant yet funky style,” she revealed. A black assymetrical dress with a thigh high slit and exposed zip detail, a strappy jumpsuit, a print maxi dress with white cat eye sunglasses and a sunny yellow ensemble evoke a retro but modern vibe.
