The umbrella body of Local Government employees in Kwara State (NULGE), has rejected the 1 billion naira share of Paris Club Loan refund, describing it as a rude shock, unfortunate and display of insensitivity to plight of impoverished staff.
The share wasn’t up to 75% of the 2nd tranche of the loan refund agreed upon by the State government to offset the salary arrears of Local government employees, Junior/primary schools teachers, Local pensioners as well as SUBEB staff.
