Nigerian Team Player Of The Week – Moses, Ola Aina, Ndidi, Ajayi Named



We rounds up the best Nigerian performers from the different leagues to put together our first team of the week for the new year, with debutants, David Amoo and Jonathan Obika all featuring in the list.

David Amoo (Cambridge United): Amoo inspired United to a 3-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra in an English League Two clash, chipping in with a goal and assist.

Jonathan Obika (Oxford United): Obika was on target for the Yellows in their 3-2 loss to Bradford City in the English League One while logging the full minutes of the game.

Uche Ikpeazu (Cambridge United): The striker got in among the goals for Cambridge United in the 3-1 win against Crewe Alexandra, scoring his side’s third and his tenth in all competition this season.
