Shocking photo: Kaduna Youths drag corpse of murdered shiite member through mud & refuse

The body of a Shiite member murdered in Kaduna on Wednesday , October 12th was beaten and dragged through mud and refuse by some irate youths. The shocking images are evidence of a recent wave of attacks on Shiite Muslims in Northern Nigeria.
According to politicsngr, no fewer than eight members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, Nigeria’s foremost Shi’ite group were murdered yesterday. One member of the group was killed in Sokoto State, three other members were killed and two policemen injured in Katsina State while commemorating its religious rite called “Ashura.”
The group said in a statement late Wednesday that at least 13 of its members were killed in multiple clashes with the police and some hoodlums in Funtua, Sokoto and Kaduna.
