In China, buildings and structures can be knocked down in the blink of an eye no matter how big they are using explosives.

But this bridge is situated amidst dozens of skyscrappers, using explosive can be dangerous because of the vibration.

The major overpass was demolished in 8 hours after a local government dispatched more than 100 excavators to work together on the site, reports said.

Demolition of the Overpass reportedly began at around 10pm and was completed by 5am the next morning.

CCTV reports that the roadway was removed because of its narrowness the upswing in car ownership in China has made it hard for bridges to accommodate enough traffic.

The overpass also needed to be demolished to make way for a new subway system.
