1million Bibles set for nationwide distribution in honor of Seyi Tinubu

One million copies of the Holy Bible are set to be distributed across Nigeria in honour of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The announcement was made during a thanksgiving service on Sunday at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.

The event was organised by friends of Seyi Tinubu and coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

According to the organisers, the Bibles will be distributed through churches and community groups nationwide, aiming to promote moral renewal, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility among young Nigerians.

Hon. Enwere emphasised that the initiative is intended to inspire moral transformation rather than serve as a personal celebration, highlighting the broader goal of fostering positive values across the country.

The programme reflects a growing trend of faith-based initiatives seeking to influence societal ethics and youth engagement in civic duties.

“The one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation. Through this effort, we hope to restore integrity, compassion, and love for humanity among young Nigerians,” he said.

The thanksgiving service, held simultaneously in approximately 40 churches across Nigeria, featured prayers and messages centered on national renewal.

Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, officiated the event and led special prayers for the Tinubu family and the nation.

Clergymen from different denominations described the initiative as highly significant, particularly in light of growing concerns about the decline of moral values in society.

In a message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu thanked the organisers, emphasizing that faith and moral education are vital for fostering responsible citizenship and supporting national development.

During the service, the first batch of Bibles was presented. These copies are set to be distributed in the coming weeks to churches, schools, and youth ministries across the country.

Organisers highlighted that the nationwide distribution aims not only to honour Seyi Tinubu but also to promote ethical leadership and inspire moral transformation among Nigeria’s youth.
