As of 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) accomplished the successful upload of polling unit results amounting to 16.1% on the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

While Nigerians await the official announcement of presidential and national assembly results by the INEC chairman Prof Mahmood Yakubu, it is noteworthy that the electoral body has been able to upload results from 28,484 polling units out of a total of 176,846 polling units in the 2023 presidential elections to the portal.

In a related development, the INEC has revealed that the collation of the 2023 presidential and parliamentary elections will commence at noon on Sunday. The commission also noted that some polling units in Kogi State may be cancelled.
