A suspected political thug has been shot dead by a stray bullet from a police gun in Star Times Estate, Ago Palace, Lagos while attempting to disrupt elections.

According to reports, the thug and his colleagues were about to cause havoc while residents were casting their votes in the area when they met resistance.

While his colleagues were able to escape, he didn’t survive the shooting.

However, the residents of the estate came out baring weapons and dogs to use to chase the thugs demanding that elections will take place in their polling unit.
