Wike’s loss at the PDP presidential primaries is understood to have created a gulf between him and the leadership of the party.

Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has said he will be happy if Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to dumps the Peoples Demcoratic Party (PDP).

According to Adeyanju, he wants Wike to join the the All Proggresives Congress (APC).

Since losing to Atiku Abubakar at the presidential primary, Wike is yet to throw his support behind Atiku.

Things even got worse as Atiku went ahead to choose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as the PDP vice presidential candidate.

Adeyanju reacted to the rift in the PDP via a tweet on his Twitter page.

He wrote:

“Deep down, I want to see Wike go to APC. I just want to watch the fight and drama, especially between him and Amaechi. I love to see politicians fight. Peace is not an option.”
