2023: Tinubu’s People Are Murmuring – Reno Omokri Supports Buhari’s Plan To Choose APC’s Presidential Candidate

Former Presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri, has supported President Muhammadu Buhari’s plans to choose the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate that will succeed him.

Omokri also claimed that the supporters of Bola Tinubu, APC National Leader and a presidential aspirant, are murmuring that Buhari should not choose who APC’s presidential candidate will be.

He said this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon.

Omokri’s comment is coming less than 24 hours after Buhari asked APC governors to allow him pick the party’s presidential candidate.

Buhari had made the call during his meeting with the governors yesterday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

“I don’t understand why Bola Tinubu’s people are murmuring that Buhari shouldn’t choose who APC’s presidential candidate will be,” Omokri tweeted.

“Who chooses who becomes a candidate of the APC in Lagos? Is it not solely Tinubu? What is good for Lagos APC is also good for national APC!”
