2027: No Southern candidate can defeat Tinubu except GEJ – Lawyer Deji Adeyanju

Ahead of the 2027 general election, lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has predicted that no Southern presidential candidate can defeat President Tinubu except former President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a post shared on his X handle, Adeyanju said the best ticket from the coalition group to defeat Tinubu in the 2027 election should be a Goodluck Jonathan/Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket or a younger Northerner paired with Peter Obi. He argued that Atiku will not excite the younger voters and so might lose their votes.

This prediction has sparked a debate online with many arguing for or against his submission.
