A 22-year-old cab driver, Lucia Osamo, has disclosed that she took to driving because she could not afford the sum of N5,000 to register for Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.

Speaking with Legit, the 22-year-old said that sometimes some of her male customers make advances at her and while telling her that she is too pretty to be doing her kind of work.

She shared one of her experiences with a female customer, who showed up and started asking where the original driver is.

Lucia said that after finishing her ND in mineral and petroleum resources from Auchi Poly, she became a taxi driver due to challenges which prevented her from furthering her education.

The young lady who said that her childhood dream is to become an engineer, added that she had to sponsor herself through polytechnic.

She also revealed that there have been cases of people cancelling trips on her just because she is a lady.
