Ganduje Congratulates Kano State Governor-Elect, Abba Yusuf

Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has congratulated the Governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, but warned him that he is going to run a brief government, hence they are meeting in court.

Ganduje, who was offering prayers for the incoming president, Bola Ahmad Tinubu on his 71st birthday at Government House, Kano, Saturday, said he is congratulating Yusuf for having a brief victory in the last conduct of the elections.

He said they have since directed their lawyers to prepare legal actions against the outcome of the election that was marred by irregularities and heavy rigging.

The prayer was attended by several islamic leaders of different sects with some APC stakeholders and cabinet members.
