The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, made the announcement shortly before the end of the plenary in Abuja.

The Upper Chamber on Wednesday adjourned the plenary till April 25, 2023, to allow lawmakers observe the Easter and Eid-El-Fitr holidays.

He said the break would enable lawmakers to participate in their various religious activities as well as take deserved rest.
