It was gathered that the suspect gave the POS operator lots of white papers cut to sizes of Naira note, to deposit as money but his charms did not work.

Youths in Emeyal community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State descended on a suspected thief, identified as Miyin Miller, for allegedly trying to defraud a POS operator “using charms.”
 
The incident happened on Wednesday, May 2, 2023.
 
It was gathered that the suspect gave the POS operator lots of white papers cut to sizes of Naira note, to deposit as money but his ‘juju’ did not work.

After youths of the community beat him up, the suspect confessed that he used the same method to defraud a POS operator of N150,000 (One Hundred & Fifty Thousand), in Imiringi, a neighboring community, before heading to Emeyal where he met his waterloo.
 
The suspect was handed over to the CDC of Emeyal II for further interrogation and investigation.
