Kidnappers Kill Young Lady Abducted in Abuja Community

A young lady has been killed by kidnappers after she was abducted in Gaye village, in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). 

She has been identified as Tarma Tsugnigo.

She was abducted alongside 11 other villagers from the community last month. 

Eleven of the villagers were among over 50 kidnap victims rescued by operatives of the FCT police Command at the weekend. 

The FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, explained that a gun duel between police operatives and the kidnappers claimed the life of a kidnap victim, Tama Jonathan. 

According to the PPRO, Tama sustained injury during the rescue operation and died on the spot.
