Ali Ndume Reveals President Tinubu’s Preferred Candidate for Senate Presidency

Borno South Senator, Ali Ndume has revealed that President Bola Tinubu asked him to lead Godswill Akpabio’s campaign for Senate Presidency.

He revealed that Akpabio is Tinubu’s preferred candidate for the Senate Presidency.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the lawmaker said Tinubu personally told him about Akpabio as his choiced candidate for the seat.

According to Ndume: “The President told me that his preferred candidate is Akpabio and I should lead the campaign.”

He said Tinubu expressed his confidence in the capabilities of Akpabio and that he won’t change his mind on his position as his preferred candidate for the seat.
