The American singer, Ava Max, has been slapped on stage by a fan during her concert in Los Angeles.

During her performance on Tuesday night, an overzealous concertgoer rushed to the stage to slap the singer.

The intruder, although restrained by one of the officials, had already succeeded in hitting Max in the face.

Max later rubbed the affected area while she continued her performance on stage.

Moments after the attack, the singer took to her Twitter page to condemn the action.

Taking a swipe at the fan, she said he is “never coming to show again”.

“He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again. Thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!” the singer wrote.
