Our Fresh Wedding Surprised Our Kids – Comedienne, Real Warri Pikin Says

Anita Asuoha, a popular comedienne, aka Real Warri Pikin, has talked about marring her husband for the second time.

She says that though she married her dream man 10 ago, she had to wait till now to have her dream wedding.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “After our wedding 10 years ago, we planned to have a better ceremony after 10 years. I married my dream man then but I did not have my dream wedding. Now, have been able to have a dream wedding.”

Addressing critics who questioned her decision to spend money on her dream wedding, Asuoha said, “Everybody is entitled to their opinion. If they say it is about content, that is fine. I saw different comments suggesting that I did it for clout. Some said I was wasting money, which I don’t understand because I put myself first before anybody else. If I am investing in my home, love life and family, and some people think it is for clout, that is fine.”

Recalling her children’s reaction when she told them she was going to have another wedding, she said, “They said, ‘Mummy, I thought you are already married’. I then explained to them that it was called ‘vow renewal’.”
