Gunmen kill three persons in Kaduna village(photos)

Gunmen have killed three persons at Geh, Kigam village in Kauru Local Government Area Kaduna.

According to the community leaders, the attackers stormed the community at about 8:pm on Monday, September 25, 2023, and opened fire on the residents. Mostly, Kigam’s inhabitants belong to the Rigu people.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the national leadership of Irigwe Development Association IDA condemned the unfortunate development and recurrence of human loss.

Prince Robert Ashi Dodo, the IDA National President who described the attack as barbaric, and inhumane, called on the security agencies to immediately swift into action by ensuring that the perpetrators are apprehended and made to face the wrath of law.

“While we condole with the immediate families of the deceased and the entire nation, we equally enjoin all to keep vigil and ensure that any irregular sign or movement that is noticed, a quick report should be done to forestall further occurrence.” – Prince Ashi said. 

The victims’ names were Sunday Gizindi, 49, Danjuma Alah, 43, and Maria Ishaya 48, a mother of three.

Victor Timothy, 25, Yohanna Ishaya, and Monday Kiri are injured.
