‘he must go’ – Workers Protest As Umahi Locks Them Out Over Lateness (Video)

On Thursday morning, the protesting workers from the Ministry of Works locked up Minister Dave Umahi’s office.

Workers who accuse Umahi of being too hard on them, alleging that he impeded their entry into the Ministry by blocking those who were unable to work in time.

The Ministry of Housing and Works has been locked down by union members. The officials also blocked the entrance and exit to the building, thereby preventing the Minister from leaving his office.

In addition, they claimed that since his appointment, Umahiun has prevented engineers and directors from performing their duties and has broken public service rules by appointing consultants to manage the Ministry’s affairs.

According to Williams Kudi, a union official, the Minister did not grant them an audience for expressing their annoyances.
