“Respectfully, that wasn’t me” – Pere denies gifting Mercy Eke iPhone 15 Pro and more

Earlier on November 1, 2023, there were claims that reality TV star Pere Egbi presented gifts to his love interest, Mercy Eke, including a money bouquet and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. (see here)

The post garnered attention online, with many individuals pointing fingers at Pere, suggesting that he must have given the gifts to Mercy Eke, as they are in an open relationship and have confirmed their dating status on several occasions.

BBNaija star, Mercy Eke, shared a video of herself receiving a bouquet of roses, some cash and other items from a mystery person. 

Clad in her nightwear, Mercy could be seen blushing as a violinist played on while the gifts were presented to her.

Recall that while in the BBNaija All Stars house, both housemates became super close and after the show, they portrayed themselves as lovers.

Pere has however,  shared a post on his X handle saying he was not the sender.
