Residents lament as they hurriedly pack their properties out of mansion due to be demolished in 2 hours (video)

Residents of a building in Lagos state went online to lament as they hurriedly removed their properties from their home which was set to be demolished.

The house, located on the mainland in Lagos State, is one of those the state government marked for mass demolition.

According to those affected, they were given only two hours to retrieve their things before the house would be demolished.

One resident paid N1.7 million just one month ago to move into the house and now has to leave before his rent expires.
