“Nigeria economy go touch everyone” Writer Ozzy Etomi is called out for complaining about price of food months after shaming someone else for doing same

X users are trolling a Nigerian writer for complaining about the price of a dish in a restaurant less than two years after she shamed someone for doing the same.

On Sunday, Feb. 28, Ozzy Etomi wrote on X: “A pasta dish for N43K, these restaurants should fear God small with their price increases.”

Subsequently, Nigerians dug up an old tweet where the same Ozzy tried to hush a woman who was complaining about the exorbitant price restaurants charge for pasta.

In the tweet shared in 2022, @baddestchef had complained that restaurants are now charging N39k for a plate of pasta and Ozzy asked why she went there if she couldn’t afford it.

Ozzy told her at the time: “Let me get this straight. You opted to go to slice. You saw the menu, saw the price, chose the meal. Enjoyed the meal. Paid. Then came to rant on Twitter? Why didn’t you make it at home?”

The same X user was on Twitter to slam Ozzy now that she is the one complaining.

“See fool, always so stupid. Nigeria economy go touch everyone,” @baddestchef wrote to Ozzy after she complained about the same thing she condemned her for complaining about.

Other X users also replied, reminding Ozzy of her stance in the past.
