Woman Beats Maid To Death, Dumps Body In A Bush In Anambra (Video)

AWKA, Anambra State – May 14, 2024

A woman has been arrested in Anambra State following the death of her maid. According to reports, the woman, identified as Chinelo Udogu, allegedly beat the young maid to death.

Details surrounding the incident are still emerging, but local media reports suggest Udogu admitted to beating the maid and claimed the victim suffered convulsions. Udogu reportedly stated she took the maid to Kings Hospital but the maid died there.

The report continues, alleging Udogu then dumped the body in a bush. A video circulating online shows Udogu, possibly confessing to the crime scene location while speaking Igbo.

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, confirmed the arrest and the recovery of the maid’s body. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
