Igbo siblings raised abroad display their impressive Igbo-speaking skills (video)

Four Igbo siblings raised abroad have gone online to show off their Igbo-speaking skills.

The sisters visited their brother in Maryland, US, to celebrate his graduation after he earned a Master’s degree in Robotics.

The phone was passed to each of the siblings, who all have Igbo names, and they introduced themselves in fluent Igbo.

The video has started a conversation about preserving Nigerian languages by teaching kids their mother tongue, not minding where they are raised.
