“I didn’t know I was going to put him on MMS” – Asake speaks on collaboration with Wizkid

Afrobeat singer Asake speaks on his collaboration with his senior colleague Wizkid, revealing he was unaware that he was going to feature him.

It is worth noting that featured Wizkid in a standout track, “MMS” on his recently released third studio album, Lungu Boy.

In a recent Instagram Live session, he was questioned by fans about how he felt working with Wizkid for the first time. Asake admitted that he didn’t know or have plans to feature Wizkid on the song as he had someone else in mind.

The music producer, P.Prime played the song for Wizkid and he immediately fell in love with the song and decided to feature on it.

Asake gave a big shout-out to Wizkid, referring to their song as the number-one song in the country.
