Police arrests house of rep member “Alex Ikwechegh” for assaulting a bolt driver in Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria…

• The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Rep. Alex Ikwechegh, representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency, for allegedly assaulting a Bolt driver.

The incident, captured in a viral video, shows the lawmaker physically assaulting the driver after a disagreement over a delivery. The driver had reportedly been sent to deliver an item to the lawmaker’s residence.

The police have assured the public that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate legal action will be taken.
