Shalipopi part ways with record label boss, Dapper music

Afropop sensation, Shalipopi has announced his departure from Dapper Music, citing exploitation by record label boss.

This development comes on the heels of Seyi Vibez’s departure from the same record label.

In an official statement shared on his Instagram page, Shalipopi revealed the reasons behind his departure from Dapper Music.

Specifically, Shalipopi cited a lack of transparency regarding his personal finances, a conflict of interest that threatened to sabotage his music career, and an unfair ‘forever deal’ as the reasons for his departure.

Additionally, Shalipopi urged fans to dissociate themselves from endeavors involving him and the record label, while acknowledging their unwavering support.

Part of the statement reads,”“I come to you today with a heavy heart. I’m officially ending my agreements with Dapper Music. I had to take this decision after my trust was broken, my finances mishandled, and my rights as an artist were disregarded. I’ve worked hard and deserve to know where my money is going. I was denied access to my money”.
