A Nigerian internet fraudster, commonly referred to as a ‘Yahoo boy,’ has stirred reactions online after sharing a heartbreaking story about his paying client.
According to a post he shared on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, his client tragically passed away in a car accident.
In a video accompanying the post, the fraudster expressed his shock and despair, writing: “I don die dawg, my paying CL don die.”
He also shared an email he received from one of the deceased client’s relatives, informing him of the tragedy and advising him to stop sending emails.
The email read:
“Jessica, I see your messages still popping up and looking for a response from Tim. I am sorry to inform you Tim is no longer with us. He was killed in an auto crash 3 months ago.”
“I have his phone and see you two had a relationship. I don’t know how close you two were, but no matter the relationship, he is not here. I am sorry to have had to inform you like this. I will be deleting all his content on his phone and giving the phone to my daughter.”
“Again, I’m sorry to have told you in this way but see you keep texting him. So, before I delete everything, I wanted to share this sad news.”
The revelation sparked a wave of reactions, with concerned individuals flooding the comment section to share their thoughts and condolences.
