Stop praying against poverty – Nigerian woman shares interesting advice on how to pray

A Nigerian woman, Teejay Tete, has advised people to avoid praying against the negative but instead to pray for the positive. 

“This spiritual insight isn’t for everyone, but those who need it will understand immediately. As much as possible, avoid praying against the negative. Instead, affirm the positive,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday. 

For example:

Do not say:

You will not die untimely.

Instead say:

You will live long.

Stop praying against poverty. Pray Instead for abundance.

I never say “Amen” to negative prayers because I don’t see why the negative needs to be mentioned at all. Rewire your mind to speak more life and positivity, it carries more power.
