Update: Nursery school teacher caught on camera assaulting four-year-old pupil has been arrested

A teacher, Stella Nwadigbo, at the Christ-Mitots school Ikorodu, Lagos state, who was caught on camera violently slapping a pupil identified as Abayomi Michael, multiple times has been arrested. 

Videos shared online showed the moment she was arrested in the classroom where she teaches.  

In the video shared online, the teacher was tearful as she apologised for assaulting the pupil.
