“Naira Marley never abducted me, stole my $300” – Lil Smart

Marlians records ex-signee, Lil Smart, makes a U-turn, addressing series of allegations against his former record label boss, Naira Marley.

Lil Smart was embroiled in a controversy with Naira Marley, accusing the singer of cyberbullying, kidnapping, assault, and robbery.

Recently, the Nigerian police confirmed arrest reports of Lil Smart stemming from Naira Marley’s petition amid the controversy.

A statement released on the Nigerian Police’s official Instagram account revealed that Lil Smart was arrested last month at his residence in Mejamogun Estate, Ajah, Lagos, with relevant exhibits recovered.

In a recent development, Lil Smart  addressed the allegations during an interview with Muyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force.

According to Lil Smart, Naira Marley never bullied, kidnapped, and financially exploited him, contrary to his earlier claims.

“Naira Marley never abducted me and he didn’t steal my $300 dollars.I thought his boys acted on his behalf “,He stated.
