Popular Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe lectures those criticizing his character in the movie, ‘Love in Every Word.’

The trending movie, Love in Every Word, which featured Uzor Arukwe and BamBam, has been on the mouths of Nigerians since it’s release.

The movie portrays the largesse of the rich man ‘Odogwu Paranran’ towards his beloved.

Some netizens have opined that the movie only depicted Igbo wealthy men as simps.

One netizen had written …

“Anambra man are not simps . Your movie is liked only my ladies who have always had the illusion of an odogwu that’ll spend his last dime on them.”

In response, Uzor Arukwe noted that spending one’s money on a woman doesn’t make one a simp; rather, it’s an act of love.

He wrote…

“Taking care of your woman and spending money on her doesn’t make you a simp. It only makes you a responsible man. How else do you show love to your partner if you can’t take care of their needs from the abundance of your wealth? ”
