Your husband’s body is still in the mortuary but you won’t let his phone rest. Stop viewing my status with his line – Nigerian woman warns widow

A Nigerian woman, Helen Nneka Eke-Okpala is facing backlash after she warned a widow to stop viewing her Facebook status with her late husband’s phone. 

“You lost your hubby. He’s still in the mortuary, but you won’t let his phone rest. Stop viewing my status with his line,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday, April 26.

“I’m imagining how a woman who lost her hubby would be reading all his chats. Omor, she’ll start keeping malice with some people o.” She added 

Reacting to the post, Facebook users criticized the woman over her perceived lack of empathy, with some people asking why she is bothered with what a widow does with her late husband’s phone.
