No man belongs to you. Your husband has the right to bring in another wife – UK based Nigerian man tells women

A Nigerian man based in the UK, Eke Ako, has advised African women to reconsider the belief that their husbands belong solely to them. 

In a Facebook post on Monday, Eke emphasised that a man has the right to marry another woman if he feels the need to do so.

“African ladies must jettison the mindset that they own a man. No man belongs to you! I belong to my mum,” he wrote. 

“A man can always decide to bring in another wife, if he deems it what he needs, at any point in time, using any way he deems right. You have equal rights as the new woman.”

Eke, who is currently married to one woman, had earlier said he supports polygamy.
