Fayose enjoys amala meal with construction workers as he celebrates his court victory (video)

A video of former Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, celebrating his court victory with some construction workers has made the rounds on social media.

Earlier today, Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos acquitted and discharged the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, from an alleged N6.9 billion money laundering case preferred against him by the commission.

The court upheld Fayose’s no-case submission, effectively ruling that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against him to warrant further defence.

Fayose had been standing trial on allegations bordering on money laundering and fraud during his tenure as governor.

A video of the ex-governor celebrating his victory over a meal of amala with some construction workers has surfaced online.
