Woman shares how her naive neighbour changed towards her abusive husband after she introduced her to online content of feminists

A woman has revealed how her neighbour, who used to endure domestic violence from her husband, suddenly changed after she introduced her to the online content of feminists. 

She said the neighbour married early, at the age of 19, and her husband beats her. 

However, one day, after listening to her give an online course to girls, she said the neighbour approached her and told her that she no longer wants to be a “pick me”. 

A pick me refers to women whose actions are for the approval of men. 

She added that after that conversation, she introduced her neighbour to the page of online feminists and asked her to follow them. 

Recently, the woman said her neighbour’s husband came home and slapped his wife and the wife, for the first time, retaliated by slapping him back after which she told her husband not to try that with her again. 

“E sweet my belle,” the woman who introduced the wife to feminists wrote.
