BBNaija S10: “I’m attracted to you but I can’t say I like you” — Kola to Dede

Tensions are beginning to rise in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house as housemate Kola opened up about his attraction to fellow housemate Dede during an emotionally charged conversation.

In a candid chat, Kola revealed that Dede aligns with his ideal type, admitting he was drawn to her from the onset of the show. However, he clarified that it’s still too early in the game to define his emotions as love.

“You are actually my type, that’s why I wanted to get to know you, talk to you and everything. I’m not gonna sit down and act like I’m not attracted to you. Anyway, I’m very much attracted to you. It’s Day 4, so I can’t say that I like you, but what I would say for sure is that you are someone,” he confessed.

The conversation took a turn when Kola subtly accused Dede of having a stronger emotional bond with fellow housemate Jason Jae. In response, Dede firmly denied any romantic involvement with Jason, stating that their relationship is strictly platonic.

Addressing Kola directly, Dede made her stance crystal clear, stating that she is in a committed relationship outside the house and has no interest in pursuing anything romantic with anyone on the show.

“I’m in a relationship outside the house, very serious, really not open,” she stated.

Dede also issued a firm but respectful warning, making it known that her boundaries are non-negotiable.

“So coming to an agreement and you say ‘Okay, cool, I know you have a relationship outside and I respect that and I wanna try to be your friend.’ That’s cool. But if tomorrow you trying to be my friend and there’s feelings involved and I’m hearing all I need reciprocation, it will not happen. It will definitely not happen by God’s grace,” she asserted.
