Davido says he spent $3.7m on white wedding to Chioma

Afrobeat star Davido has revealed the staggering cost of his white wedding to wife Chioma, disclosing that the lavish celebration set him back $3.7 million (over ₦5.5 billion).

Earlier this year, the singer announced that the wedding would take place in August in Miami, United States. Highlights from their pre-wedding events have been making waves across internet spaces since yesterday.

Speaking during his Havana’s Night party on Friday, Davido told friends and family about the scale of the event.

Without mincing words, the singer boasted, “We spent 3.7 million dollars in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crãzy.”

The Miami festivities reportedly drew high-profile guests from across the globe, highlighting the wedding as one of the most extravagant celebrity events of the year.
