My mother-in-law can never be my mother – Nigerian woman says

A Nigerian woman, Hope Chinenye, has said that she doesn’t consider her mother-in-law as her mother.

She also stated that her husband’s siblings can never be her siblings.

“When I read posts where people say “your mother in-law is also your mother, your siblings in-law is also your siblings” I feel like slapping them into reality,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“My mother in-law is my mother in-law and can never be my mother, my sibling in-law is my sibling in-law not my siblings. My mother is my mother bcoz only my mother will always check on me everyday.

“My mother is the only one who is scared of losing me to d3ath.

“My siblings are the only people who is scared of losing me to death not my sibling in-law.

“I have always known this right from 2015 hence all this shiiiit people say about mother in-law and sibling in-law will never gel well for my ear.”
