May Yul-Edochie sends cease-and-desist letter to Yinka Theisen, demands N500m over alleged cyberbullying and online defamation

May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of actor, Yul Edochie, has sent a cease and desist letter to Linc Edochie’s ex-lover, Yinka Theisen, for allegedly cyberstalking, cyberb#llying her and for defaming her person online.

In a letter released by her legal representative, Graylaw Partners, May accused Yinka of making posts that ‘Cyberstalk and cyberbully her by posting falsehood against her on his social media platforms.’

She stated that Yinka’s posts have been made in a tone and manner that transcend mere defamation, constituting ridicule, unwarranted and harmful behaviour, a calculated assault on her reputation, and have further imperilled her safety through malicious threats and demonstrably false allegations by you and at your behest.

She went further to state that Yinka’s posts also instigated third parties to propagate your disturbing communications. thereby amplifying the damage and causing our Client severe and irreparable harm.

She demanded that she stopped making such publications, retract existing posts, issue a public apology, and publish a retraction on all her platforms. She is also seeking financial compensation of N500 million in damages.
