A man who drove on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway just 20 minutes before world-renowned British boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a car accident has spoken out, sharing his observations and a video of the road.

Eyewitness Drives Past Accident Site

Orowale Kolapo, popularly known on Facebook as Oni Foto, revealed that he traveled the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway shortly before the crash that left Anthony Joshua injured and tragically claimed the lives of his two team members, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.

Kolapo released a video showing the state of the road, countering claims that poor road conditions contributed to the accident.

Road Conditions Not a Factor, Says Eyewitness

Addressing reports that the crash was caused by the road’s condition, Kolapo dismissed such claims as false and part of a deliberate misinformation campaign.

He described the expressway as “one of the smoothest roads in Nigeria,” noting that there are no bumps from Berger to Iwo Road.
