AFCON 2025; “Each of them”- Man shares amount each Senegalese player will receive for winning cup title

Following Senegal’s victory at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final, a man has revealed the amount each Senegalese player will receive for winning the cup title.

‎It would be recalled that Senegal emerged victorious over Morocco in the AFCON final, securing the championship title with a 1-0 win.

Pape Gueye scored the winning goal in the 94th minute, securing Senegal’s second AFCON title.

The match was marked by controversy, with Senegal’s players briefly walking off the pitch in protest against a penalty awarded to Morocco.

Man Speaks Following Senegal’s AFCON Victory

‎According to the man, each Senegalese player will receive 75 million CFA francs, which estimates to approximately $133,000, as promised by Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

He also shared that each Senegalese player will receive a plot of land.

‎”Each players will be getting 75 million CFA, which translates to about $133,000 (N188,883,940) each, plus a plot of land for the honour they brought to their country”, He stated in the now-viral video.
