“I couldn’t walk for 2 weeks”- Lady who was bitten by snake 7 years ago

A lady on X (formerly Twitter) has shared a harrowing account of being bitten by a snake 7 years ago, following the death of fast-rising Nigerian singer and vocalist, Ifunaya Nwagene.

‎Earlier, Gistreel reported that the 26-year-old singer passed away after being bitten by a snake at her Abuja residence.

Lady’s Account After Snake Bite

‎According to the lady, identified as @prettiest-oma on X, the incident occurred during her 2nd year in university when she travelled to her hometown.

‎In her tweet, which has garnered over 160k views, she revealed the snake bit her on the leg, causing a sharp blood clot on the spot.

”There was a sharp blood clot on that spot immediately and it started scratching me. Then I saw the snake crawling up, I looked around and no one was coming i now remembered what my mom said casually about using something to tie your leg or hand if you get bitten by a snake or scorpion”, She stated.

According to the X user, she was rushed to a herbalist in a neighbouring town who treated her with herbs, and was unable to walk for 2 weeks.

“I headed home and was rushed to a herbalist in the neighbouring town, I was treated with herbs after the herbalist removed 2 of the snake tooth from my legs”, Her tweet reads.
